Microsoft is rolling out its first version of a new version of its popular antivirus app for Windows 10.
The new version, called Windows Defender for Business, is aimed at businesses and includes the ability to detect and remove malware and to report suspicious activity.
It will roll out in the coming weeks to users of Microsoft’s Windows 10 Enterprise Service Packs.
Microsoft’s new Windows Defender is the first version to be offered as an add-on to the Windows 10 operating system, which also includes Microsoft Edge, Office 365 and Skype for Business.
The Windows Defender app will come to the Mac as well.
The app comes in at a hefty $4.99 and can be downloaded for free from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
It is also available for purchase on the Windows Store.
The company is also introducing a new “Business Security & Compliance Suite” for its Windows and Mac apps, which can be installed for free.
The suite is a “portable collection of useful, easy-to-use tools” for business, said a release from Microsoft.
The “Microsoft Windows Defender” app is available on the Apple and Google Play stores.
